HUFF and PUFF is an initiative that was introduced to Antrim Primary School at the beginning of 2006. The main idea of HUFF and PUFF is to give children a much more exciting variety of games to play during lunchtime - individually and collectively. The HUFF and PUFF equipment is monitored by some of the P6 and P7 pupils who are also available to give children ideas on how the equipment may be used. The HUFF and PUFF equipment is available to ALL pupils during the week. However, due to the large number of children attending the school, each year group is given an opportunity on selected days to allow the equipment to be shared out equitably. The photos below show some of the HUFF and PUFF equipment in use in the playground. As you can see the children are certainly enjoying themselves! |
