Comments about Toys/Teddies topic Luke - We brought in moving toys. I brought in a Stig racing car. Matthew P. - I enjoyed art especially making my moving Pinocchio. Suraj - We brought our teddies in for Teddy Week. I brought my teddy called Alvin. Taylor - I loved making a tissue paper teddy. I did a blue one with tiny eyes. Adam - I brought in a car when we talked about moving toys. Ryan - During teddy week I wrote a teddy fact file. Jack - We played with our teddies during teddy week. Alex - We drew pencil teddies and Mrs. Logan made a big display. Matthew G. - I liked making lego cars in activity based learning. Michael - I liked doing clicker on the computer about how toys move. Dylan - In art I liked drawing my motor bike with chalk pastels. Ross - I love doing sums. Mrs.Logan gave us sums inside a teddy shape. Kyle - We heard old teddies have a hump on their backs. Bradley - Old teddies had glass eyes. New teddies have plastic eyes. Tyler - I enjoyed making a hand puppet and decorating it. Megan - I liked making the puppet teddies. We learnt how to sew. Rebecca - Old teddies have long arms and long legs. Hannah A - I found it hard to sew my puppet but I enjoyed it anyway. Katie - I learnt that teddies were named after Theodore Roosevelt. Julia - New toys are usually made from plastic so they won't break easily. Caitlin B. - Old teddies aren't as colourful as new teddies. Hannah N. - Old teddies had a hard sawdust stuffing. New teddies are soft. Caitlyn S. - I wrote 3 clues on a bubble so people could guess which toy was mine. Amy Louise - I liked all the art. Ellie - We sorted toys for wood, plastic, metal and cloth. Amy - Old toys were made of metal and wood. Georgia - We made teddies with tissue paper. Mine was lots of different colours. |
