HOME
Old Mrs Stanton was an old lady. She lived in an old house with a big
garden. It had lots of flowers and lots of animals like frogs. It was
surrounded by a big high wall. One day some children were playing catch
and it went over the wall. The next day the children went back they saw a
girl going in and one of the children went in after her. Mrs Stanton saw
her and came out to talk to her. The girl was her grand daughter. She
called the other children over. Now they know that she is a nice lady.

Yesterday we went on a shape walk to look for shapes. We found
square based pyramids on top off the kitchen roof and on the Court
House. When we got further out to the car park we saw some triangular
based pyramids on top of the Court House. We do not have to go to
Egypt to see pyramids we can see then out of our classroom window.
We saw some cylinders on top of the kitchen and the oil tank is a
cylinder too. In the playground we saw a sphere on the blue door. We
saw a cone it was the church spire. There are cubes on the police
station and on our school. We saw triangular prisms on the roof of the
houses. The cuboids we saw were the P.E store and a tall thing on the
kitchen. We all had fun on the shape walk.

Here are 5 reasons why it is sensible to have fruit for break.
1. Fruit helps your heart grow stronger.
2. Health experts say we need five portions of fruit or vegetables every day.
3. We help by feeding the worms with cores and pips.
4. We help our world by not throwing out rubbish.

MAKING Music in Room 23!
Making a Mural - "Through the Dragon's Eye"
We are making some musical instruments to play in our own Room 23 band!
We are all getting ready for the final concert! We made a lovely noise - honestly!
You can see us working together on our big mural for the back of our classroom.
We had to work hard to complete the "Through the Dragon's Eye"
painting, but it certainly was worth the effort at the end of it all!
Science Week - technology challenges
The water challenge. How many times
could we use a paper cup filled with water?
Making our cars for the testing ramp.
Don't our vehicles look really well?
Finishing off our construction in class.
