Prayers of Thanks Dear God, Thank you for birds that fly, lions that roar, rivers that flow, trees that grow. Thank you for fish that swim, wind that blows, snow that falls and sun that shines. Amen (Ethan Creighton) Dear God, Thank you for birds that sing and fly. Let us thank you for the flowers with all their different colours, for high mountains and sunsets. We thank you for tame and wild animals, for the sun and moon, but most of all for food. Amen (Cerys Feeney) Dear God, Thank you for making this wonderful world. The seas, the rivers, the fields of wheat, the mountains that go so high. Thank you for the leaves changing in Autumn and for the animals. Thank you God for everything we have. Amen (Jonathan Browne) Dear God, Thank you for the lovely world you gave us. The fruit, the flowers, the vegetables, mountains, beaches and trees. And all the countries around us. Thank you for the seasons. I love everything you gave us and thank you for creating me. Amen (Erin Carlisle) Dear God, Thank you for our food and plants. Thank you for the sky and even the sun, the moon and the rest of creation. Amen (Luke Dean-Darby) Dear God, Thank you for the animals, people and lovely sunshine. Thank you for making me. Amen (Sophie Straker) Dear God, Thank you for the animals, the flowers in Spring, the life of new-born babies. Thank you for the summer sun, the autumn leaves falling off the trees and children running through them. For the cold winter and people making snowmen. Thank you for the world. Amen (Amy Erskine) |
