Magpie A babbling bird balances on the fence, It preens its wings and looks proud, With eyes as black as the night sky, It flips from tree to tree as they sway in the wind, He stares up at the clouds, Unnerved by the world around him, He flaps his wings and flies away. The Wren Its tiny beady black eyes leer at the ground waiting for prey, His beak is like a small orange carrot cheeping in laughter, His body is like a tiny ball of fluff blowing in the wind, His tiny wings flap getting ready to fly into the lovely blue sky, He fluffs up his feathers to keep warm for the cold weather, His big long stick tail twitches as he hops.
