BAD DOG! My dog Buddy needed the potty but he could not get to the box. He yelped, he barked but there was no one to help him. There was only one place to go to the loo, the hall mat! But guess what Squelch! Bad dog Buddy, Bad, Bad Dog! Adam Crawford BIRTHDAY SURPRISE One minute past midnight my heart is beating, my birthday had arrived. My mum and dad had planned a special birthday surprise. I heard a muffled sound and someone, shh! I went downstairs. There before me was a little brown cuddly cute puppy. It was my best birthday ever. Bethany O'Hagan Amy's New Teacher In a school far away there was a little girl named Amy. Her teacher was sick so Amy and her friend Jenna were scared. They wanted Miss Honey. But as the class settled down, WHOOSH! The door flew open. The new teacher looked horrible, then she cast a spell! Chandini Mainie MY DREAM I had a dream about Vikings. The Vikings said that my friend and I were raiders. My friend and I said, "We are not raiders and we do not know where we are." But we were too late because my friend and I were getting carried into the Viking hall! Ciara McKnight THE INVASION It started when a boy called Michael spotted a bright light. It started to get closer and closer. He ran home and got his brother Isaiah. They both came out and saw smoke behind a tree. Then … robots came out. The robots chased them. Everyone was turned into a robot. Isaiah Close THE GREAT ESCAPE I was running as fast as I could, away from the thing that growled at me. I was still running when I fell over a stone. I turned around as I felt a wet tongue lick my face. It was my dog, I'd forgotten I had his ball. Silly me. Thomas Allen. The Face Eater One night as I was fast asleep, I heard a distant scary jingle at my bedroom door. It was then that I felt the face eater. He jumped on me and started to eat my face. I woke and saw Fergie my dog licking my face. Time for school. Thomas McKitterick |

I will put in my box…. A stone from the top of Mount Everest Jack frost`s magic fingers The silky sleek gossamer spin of the spider web. I will put in the box The magic power of Merlin the magician A lightning bolt in the air for a millisecond The summer sun shinning on the winter snow. My box is fashioned from 1000,000 years old wood The iron ore made from the deepest mines The corners are from the corners of the world. I will put in my box The light from the morning sun, The twinkle from the first evening star, A dreamful dream to put me to sleep. I will put in my box A nice peaceful forest, A huge roar from a mobile sized mouse, a tiny squeak from a fierce lion. I will put in my box The cold, wet, winter ground, A silly spider singing a song, With snakes slipping and sliding along. I will put in my box A happy giggle from a baby, A cry from those in pain, With the sorrow for those who have died. My box is fashioned from the finest wood, Painted like the deep blue sea, And decorated with peaceful magical fairies. I will keep my box on the tallest mountain Then it would fall into the sea Waiting to be found by someone like me. By Jenna Boyd |

I will put in the box The sparkle of the brightest star, A wish to whisk me away, And a box full of happiness. I will put in the box All the colours of the rainbow, A yellow zebra with brown spots, And a giraffe with black and white stripes. I will put in the box (I will add) A 13th month, And a sip from the bluest water, And a rock from the tallest mountain. I shall keep it in a magical marvellous garden full of flowers and all wild stuff with grass as green as a caterpillar. By Amy O'Prey |
I will put in the box The last ash from the burning sun, and a tear from a weeping angel and a diamond from the end of the universe. I will put in the box A footballers heart and a lovers kit, and the stripes of a tiger switched with the wrinkles of an elephant. I will put in the box A blade of gold grass from the fairytale tree, the cow from the store and the milk from the old farm. I will put in the box The sparkling horn of a unicorn, The sound of a new born baby and the smell of freshly cut grass in the morning. My box is fashioned from A Vikings sword from long ago, gold and silver dragon prints and strong metal and steel. I would keep it in The bottom of the earth itself, so not even the great God himself could find it. BY GEMMA MOLLOY |
