Ollie is an alien. He is always hungry. He is a friendly alien. He can turn invisible & shrink. In the last story he knocked over Mrs.Rowlands favourite plant. We have seen 3 chapters of Earthwarp. Our Earthwarp theme song is called It's our planet it's our place. It goes like this..."It's our planet, it's our place, we must save the human race, earth warp, we must save the world, save the creatures, save the trees, save the land and save the sea. Earth warp. We must save the world." We all sing along to it. It is a happy song and very very funny. By Matthew Petticrew |
Sam the Lifeboatman |
Sam ' s visit to assembly. The lifeboats save people at sea. Ordinary people do lifeboat jobs like doctors, butchers like that. Some people go past the red flags. Some people haveair beds. They need money to buy boats and equipment. They have important workround the coasts and Fermanagh lakes. Sam works in lifeboats. They don't get paid for their lifeboat work. This work is voluntary. He sung us a song it was very funny. He told us a story. By Rebecca and Laura |
A man called Sam came to Assembly and talked to us about lifeboats. He told us a story about a boy from Scotland. He was staying in a caravan park beside Lough Ness. When he went out in their boat alone, Nessie the gobbled the boat up and all that search parties found was his t-shirt. We are collecting money for the life boats. We're hoping to get enough money to buy 2 whole outfits. Sam was telling us some dangers on the beach. He was very funny. By Anna |
Evacuated! |
Dear Dad, Matthew and I are having a great time. We live in a farm called Rose Farm. The lane is called Cow Lane and the country side is called Killead. We met new friends. One is a squirrel and the other is a hedgehog. We named the squirrel Darren and the hedgehog is called Candy because she loves candy. We have lots of work to do and it is tiring. We love the food. We always have a salad and after a lovely big ice cream. YUM! We are really scared. We really miss you. love Matthew and Megan. |
Dear mum , I miss you but I'm still making new friends. We get nice food and drink. I am starting to learn new things like feeding cows and rounding up the sheep. I feel scared and I do not get much water in the bath. I have to walk 5 miles to get to school. I get about 2-4 hours to play. I hope dad is alright. I have lots of work to do but sometimes it is fun. I like to cook for the farmers wife. Love from Sophie |
